"Sext" is a photographic exploration into the use of modern technology as a visual language to describe desire. For one night only, I am showing a selection of sexts that I created and sent to an anonymous recipient in New York over the course of the past nine months. What started out of sexual restlessness grew to become a consuming ritual of photographing myself in a way that described my desires, the symbolism of lust, and the expectation of reciprocated arousal. The result is a collection of photographs created within the confines of the camera phone and immediately available environment- stylistically ranging from my personal approach as a creative photographer to satisfying my partner's requests for "less artsy more strip club."
